Green Roofs & Green Infrastructure: A Demonstration & Discussion

Green Roofs & Green Infrastructure: A Demonstration & Discussion

On Thursday, June 29 Woodard & Curran will be hosting a green infrastructure demonstration and discussion in partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Maine Department of Environmental Protection, the City of Portland, and the Greater Portland Council of Governments. The event is part of a larger EPA-funded brownfields area-wide planning effort in Portland's East Bayside Neighborhood.

During the event, Woodard & Curran and industry experts will share information about green roof products, green infrastructure approaches, and the role responsible stormwater management can play in the development of resilient neighborhoods. From 4:00 – 6:00 PM there will be guided tours along Anderson Street to showcase examples of green infrastructure initiatives that have already been implemented in the area.

The event is free and open to the public. If you would like any additional information about this event or about East Bayside's brownfields planning efforts, please contact Jedd Steinglass at
